SEGA's Sonic the Hedgehog will have its next series exclusively on the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. Nintendo's president, Satoru Twata, announced details of a worldwide partnership with SEGA during a Nintendo Direct video announcement today. Sonic Lost World, the next game in the Sonic franchise, will be an action-adventure platforming game, with more information set to be announced before E3 2013 on 11th June.
There was also an announcement of a new addition to the Mario and Sonic series, the series' first appearance on Wii U. Launch dates have also been revealed for Pikmin 3, The wonderful 101 and New Super Luigi U.
