It has been revealed today that the showroom seen in some of the screenshots for Assetto Corsa will actually be available for you to use in-game once you get your hands on it. It will be rendered using the in-game engine and you will be able to inspect and admire your vehicle collection whilst listening to your favourite MP3 playlist. You can choose your favourite car, favourite livery, open the doors, get in/out the car and even turn on the headlights.
"The showroom will be also considered as a good tool for modders, who will have the chance to check their work and share screenshots with the community. Modders will be also able to build their own showrooms and 3D garages, that will be compatible with the same functions and features allowed in the default one."
There was also the announcement that the GT3 version of the Mclaren MP4-12C would be making its way into the game for the first release later this year. This is alongside the regular Mclaren MP4-12C model. We've got some screenshots below for you take a gander at.
