The latest update to Assetto Corsa might not sound all that exciting to some people as they haven't really added anything new as such but what they have done however is a lot of work on bug fixes and game modes.

You may remember that the last update bought us the option to race against the AI cars in set configurations, well today's update enables the quick race option. This allows you to completely customize your experience with track, car and opponent combination. There are possibilities to do multi-class, mutli-era, multi-most things other than multi-player.

There has also been some work taking place on the collisions side of things, enabling you to lean on opponents a bit more, they have also got rid of "landmines" and given a more realistic behavior when going over high curbs.

Those of you that want 5.1 surround sound, you now have it. They have done some work on the sound of the opponent AI as well as taking advantage of the 5.1 surround systems.

Lastly they have put a lot of time and effort into hunting down bugs and optimizing things as much as they can.

Another impressive update from Kunos and we can now take full advantage of all the cars and tracks that we can for now. I'd sooner see them fix things gameplay wise rather than just keep bombarding us with new content in the cars and track side, that can come later.
