Call of Duty: Black Ops II Vengeance DLC releasing on PC and PS3 August 1st

The latest DLC pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops II, Vengeance, will be releasing on August 1st for PC and PlayStation 3. The new DLC will take players to exotic locations around the globe and also serve up a new chapter in the Zombies experience with "Buried."

The new DLC pack will deliver four diverse multiplayer maps such as Cove, Detour, Rush and Uplink.

Cove - The stage is set for all-out conflict on this small, forgotten island in the middle of the Indian Ocean.

Detour - A destroyed suspension bridge high above the East Coast waterway which is packed with scattered vehicles, exposed iron and collapsed pavements.

Rush - This map requires you to get ready for fast, close-quarters engagement in a paintball course which has been turned into a full blown arena.

Uplink - This is a re-imagined version of the fan favourite "Summit" from the original Call of Duty: Black Ops, set in the rain-soaked jungles of Myanmar, high atop a high-tech mountain facility.

Lastly, the new Zombies map "Buried" takes you into a world where the undead residents of an old abandoned underground Old West mining town. There will be a healthy arsenal of equipment available to players as well as a new powerful weapon which will appear in all other Zombies maps, Ray Gun Mark II.
