Respawn Entertainment are a month away from releasing Titanfall but that hasn't stopped publisher EA talking about the future of the franchise already.
Whilst at the Stifel Technology, Media, & Entertainment Conference, EA CFO Blake Jorgensen said that Titanfall is going to be a game that you "have to own," with a great potential for sequels.
Jorgensen said that he only saw the game yesterday but he was blown away by its performance. It is a "piece of IP that is now very different from anything you've ever seen. Very exciting gameplay."
With the game releasing exclusively across the PC and Microsoft consoles, Jorgensen said that the Microsoft deal would "limit the size" of the franchise - but it most definitely won't be the last game of the series.
As you can imagine, [Titanfall] will be a franchise that's around for a long, long time
To finish things off, Jorgensen said that Titanfall won't suffer the same fate that Battlefield 4 has found itself in.
The release date for the Titanfall beta may also finally drop today.
