Nokia is set to launch a new accessory for their Lumia line of Windows Phones soon which will take advantage of both NFC and Bluetooth 4.0 (coming with their Amber update sometime in August).

The 'Treasure Tags' are similar to a recent Kickstarter campaign for a device called Tile but it will pair to the phones using NFC rather than having an online account. The tags will enable you to find any lost devices with the tags attached to using Bluetooth 4.0 and you will even be able to 'ping' the attached phone from the tags incase you misplace your phone. The tags are also said to support Nokias LiveSight feature which uses Augmented Reality to see where things are (Currently used in various applications to find venues for various things).

The tags are said to be 'Always On' with a battery that will last approximately 6 months. No word yet as to if the battery will be replaceable or if it will be like Tile where you have to buy a new one. No word on the pricing yet but i can't see them being too expensive as other devices similar to this don't break the bank.

These devices are said to be the first of many Bluetooth accessories that Nokia are said to announce that takes advantage of the new Bluetooth 4.0 support in Windows Phone 8 GDR2

I like the sound of these devices and I think they could be really useful (plus its something to finally use my NFC for!). I would probably attach one to my laptop or tablet as i keep losing them under the mess in my house... let us know what you think of these and if you'd get one.
