The Steam Dev Days event at Valve has started today and one of the major points coming from it is that Gabe Newell wants Steam Greenlight to "go away."
Thanks to the ramblings of Dave Oshry (Rise of the Triad dude) on Twitter, we have been told that Valve's goal is to "make Greenlight go away. Not because it's not useful, but because we're evolving."

There are no other deets yet, but Oshry did tweet that they want to "give developers more control."

Would you be sad to see Greenlight to go, or would you rather see a new system bought in? There have been a lot of good, and bad moments to the system, so what are everyone's thoughts?
