Gearbox announced in their final panel at PAX South that they are ready to start work on the brand new Borderlands, and they are looking to recruit a bunch of fresh faces to go along with it.

Speaking on Twitter, CEO Randy Pitchford said that "this is the big one."

We are recruiting for next Borderlands. This is the big one. Industry badass? E-mail me:

We want to hear from passionate and talented people to help us with next Borderlands game. Check our website!

There have been numerous different job openings appearing on the Gearbox website, including a writer to oversee and direct the development of story/plot for a AAA title. There is no confirmation as to what the next Borderlands game will be called, but I think all of us are thinking the same thing, it'll be Borderlands 3.

Cheers, GameSpot
