Rockstar have finally announced the release date for the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V. The only problem is it isn't in the near future.

Whilst the current-gen consoles will get the game this November we have to wait until 27th Jan 2015 to get our hands on it.

A bit of a shame that there is such a long wait for the game but at least we have got a proper release date for the game now.

In addition to higher resolutions and draw distances we will be get the following updates:

  • New weapons, vehicles and activities;
  • Additional wildlife;
  • Denser traffic;
  • New foliage system;
  • Enhanced damage and weather effects, and much more.

They have also updated GTA Online to support up to 30 players instead of 16 and all DLC will be made available as well.

Those of you that pre-order the game will be given $1,000,000 in-game cash to spend across both the single player and online portions of the game.

What does everyone think to the wait? Too long, fair enough, what? It is 1.5 years after the original release for us PC guys.

There will also be a brand new trailer made available today at 9am EST so stay tuned for that on the Rockstar Games' YouTube channel for that.
