The Nokia Music service has been re-branded to Mix Radio today. The service which lets Nokia users stream ad-free radio on their phone for no extra cost is being re-branded to reflect that.

There will also be an updated music app to match.

The new Mix Radio client will center around Play Me, a personalized stream defined by a few favourite artists. You are also able to use Pandora style thumbs-up, thumbs-down votes to help refine your selection.

It will now be easy to share your mixes as well, with the ability to use email, Facebook, text messages and Twitter.

Anyone who used the extra $4 to get unlimited downloads will still be able to do so, as well as improved quality and web listening.

To receive this update all Lumia users need to do is update the existing Music app to take advantage of the new smarter audio experience.
