The release of Resident Evil 4 Ultimate HD Edition is later this month and it turns out that there are still some PS2 quality cut scenes in the game.
The news was confirmed by Capcom community manager Brett Elston in the comments section of a recent blog post comparing 30fps SD textures against 60fps HD textures.
The first appearance for Separate Ways was in the PlayStation 2 version, and it used pre-rendered cut scenes to get better performance out of the aging system at the time.
The Separate Ways cut scenes have not been changed, despite re-releases on the Wii, PS3 and Xbox 360.
Separate Ways shows off a parallel story to that of the main game w which is neatly joint in with the main story at numerous different key places.
