Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 range extended, 8/10.1 inch versions coming in June

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 will be getting an 8 and 10.1 inch version which is set to be released worldwide in early June.

The 8-inch version of the tablet will come with a 1280x800 screen resolution, a front-facing camera of 1.3-megapixel and a rear-facing camera of 5-megapixel. For the hardware side of things it boasts a 1.5GHz dual-core processer, 1.5GB RAM and a 16 or 32GB storage option.

It will all be powered by a 4,450 mAH battery and Android 4.2, with WiFi-only, 3G and LTE variants being available.

The 10.1 inch tablet will also have a 1280x800 screen resolution, the same front-facing camera (1.3-megapixel) and a weaker rear-facing camera of 3-megapixel. It will also have a 1.6GHz dual-core processor, slightly less RAM at only 1GB and the usual 32/64GB storage options.

It will pack a slightly larger battery at 6,800 mAH with the same operating system and the same WiFi only, 3G and LTE variants.

No specific release date has been set for the tablets yet, it is only known so far as worldwide at the "beginning of June".
