Samsung has announced yet another version of the Samsung GALAXY S4, this time called "Active."

Featuring qualified protection from dust and water (IP67), the fully sealed design will keep dust particles out and protect the device for up to 30 minutes in 3 feet / 1 metre of water depth.

The phone will feature a 1.9GHz quad-core processor, 2,600 mAh battery, 5.0" Full HD TFT LCD screen (at 443 PPI), water-proof earphone socket, glove touch, and an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The camera will also have a special 'aqua-mode' for taking underwater shots, if for some reason, you feel like that should be a thing.

Other notable specs are the usual 16/32GB storage options and 2GB RAM, once again Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) will be the operating system.

No pricing information has been revealed but the phone is set to release in America and Europe 'this summer' with Urban Grey, Dive Blue and Orange Flare designs.
