Sony were the first to unveil the release date for the next-gen consoles, with the PlayStation 4 releasing November 15th for North America and November 29th in Europe. There is still no word yet from Microsoft other than the "holiday season."
Sony also announced price cuts for the PlayStation 3 in North America, saying that the 12GB model will be made available for €199/$199. You will also be able to pick up digital next-gen titles such as CoD: Ghosts, Watch Dogs or Assassin’s Creed 4 for a heavily discounted price if you own the game on PS3.
Sony also announced that they had already received 1 million pre-orders for the PlayStation 4.
