It looks Ubisoft are trying to force uPlay down the throats of the UK users even more it seems as a host of games and series aren't coming to the UK store front of Steam.
Ubisoft have spoken to PCGamesN and confirmed that they won't be bringing Assassin's Creed Unity to the UK store.
They have stated that UK customers will need to purchase the game through the Uplay store.
But for the time being the game is not available via Steam in the UK. In the meantime, UK customers wishing to purchase the game digitally can do so by visiting the Uplay store, our retail partners or other digital distributors.
There is no word as to why both Far Cry 4 and The Crew aren't on the UK store though as they are actually available worldwide. There is also no solid reason as to why this is happening for UK users.
The biggest problem this will cause for the UK users is that the Uplay store prices are a lot higher compared to what they would be on Steam. Honestly, I just wish Uplay would go and die in a fire somewhere.
