If you've been wanting to get your hands on some gameplay footage for SCS Software's upcoming American Truck Simulator then you will be pleased to know that they released an entire hour of footage for you to enjoy yesterday.
You can watch as the video shows deliveries of various different cargo throughout the state of California, visiting various different cities along the way. Throughout the video it will slowly transition to night so you get a good glimpse of the day-night cycle going on.
The first thing that you will notice is that the interface and game itself is very similar to that of Euro Truck Simulator 2, with the biggest change obviously being the road systems, traffic and trucks. They have however added multiple parking spaces to each delivery drop-off, giving you more reward depending on the difficulty of each parking maneuver.
It is important to note that all gameplay footage is in the very early Alpha stages and so this in no way represents the final product that we will be receiving further on down the line. SCS Software currently have no plans to release the game via Steam's Early Access program, and there is currently no mention of a release date.
You can find the video at the top of this article under the "Related video" link, or you can click here if that's easier for you.
